HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED

HOW TO MAKE A REVERSE CANVAS

For a reverse canvas project using the free SVG cut files, use a stretched canvas that you can pick up at any craft store. Then, remove the fabric canvas and use iron-on vinyl on the canvas to add a design.

Iron-on vinyl and stretched canvas

First, use a craft knife to cut the fabric free of the staples. Alternatively, you can remove the staples to free the fabric.

The goal is to remove the fabric canvas from the wooden frame.

Remove the canvas

Use a Cricut mini easy press or iron to apply the iron-on to the canvas.

Reattach the fabric canvas to the wood frame using a staple gun or with hot glue.
